Alex Morrison has over a decade of practice in personal injury law. Holding a Specialist Accreditation in the field, Alex has successfully represented numerous clients who suffered catastrophic injuries due to acts of negligence, ranging from construction and architectural omissions to workplace and motor vehicle accidents as well as shopping centre and cruise ship design failures. Alex has been involved in prominent litigation cases in the NSW Supreme Court and Federal Court. He has also represented clients impacted by high-profile incidents that occurred abroad, such as the 2019 White Island volcano eruption, the 2016 bus accident in Vanuatu, and the 2019 Venice cruise ship collision.

Previously serving as the head of a public liability and travel law practice in Sydney, Alex made the decision to join Melinda Griffiths Lawyers in 2022 to be closer to home and family in the Shoalhaven region. Throughout the course of his career, Alex has also gained valuable experience working on “fitness to practice” hearings for the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council during his two-year stint in London.

Passionate about the law’s potential to right moral wrongs, Alex finds immense fulfilment in his work as a lawyer. He believes that injured individuals can attain a sense of justice with the right legal expertise. With a deep commitment to representing and protecting the rights of disadvantaged and injured people, Alex considers his practice area extremely rewarding. Balancing his professional life with personal commitments, Alex embraces a full life that includes raising two young children and pursuing hobbies such as playing football and attempting triathlons, making the most of every minute of every day.
